All meetings will be held at the North Ferriby Social Club, 6 Low Street, North Ferriby HU14 3DD. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month and commence at 10.00am, unless otherwise notified.

A fee of £40.00 for the year is charged to members to cover venue hire, refreshments at meetings and speaker's fees.
Visits to nurseries/gardens may involve additional fees for refreshments/entry and in some cases booking is essential.
Our activities include: Speakers (contact Convenor for programme); visits; helpful advice and plant sales and swops. Refreshments are provided at all meetings. Fees may increase next year due to the increased cost of speakers. u3a non -members and guests pay £3.00 per session. Visits to nurseries / gardens may involve additional fees for refreshments / entry.
We have 45 members registered and we welcome further new members. Why not come along as a visitor and give us a try.

The gardening group is one of the largest interest groups we have with over 40 members, but sadly only 5 men. It is organised by a dedicated committee of 5 members who arrange talks on various related topics throughout the year. They meet once a month and go out on two visits a year (a garden centre and an open garden), as well as being involved in the North Ferriby Open Gardens event.

In March the speakers were professional gardeners Roger Burnett BEM and Sheila Johnson showcasing some of their favourite gardens, but first Roger brought the group up-to-date with the issues of using peat free compost for cuttings.
